Bookings
- The booking function of this website is only to be used by people over the age of 16.
- Having a confirmed booking does not require Metal Fatigue Limited to perform the service booked.
- If you are more than 5 minutes late to your appointment, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and give it to another customer.
- Booking a service via this website means you agree to these terms & conditions
Deposits
- Regular piercings do not require a deposit.
- Male & Female genital piercings require a 50% deposit.
- After booking you will be sent a secure payment link via email to pay the deposit.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Deposits cannot be transferred to another person, but can be transferred to another service and/or another date/time.
- Deposits must be paid within 48 hours of the time of booking. Otherwise the booking will be cancelled.
- If a deposit has been paid and the person does not have valid photo ID when they attend their appointment, the deposit will not be refunded.
- If a deposit has been paid and you are more than 5 minutes late to your appointment, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and keep your deposit.
Cancellations
- To cancel your appointment online, please use the link in your confirmation email/text message.
- Otherwise, please call us on 01202 315 315 or email us at hello@metalfatiguepiercing.com.
- Cancellations should be made at least 4 hours prior to the start time of the booking.
- We reserve the right to cancel an appointment for any reason, at any time.
Getting a piercing
- All piercings are performed at the piercer’s discretion.
- We do not pierce children below the age of 11 years old.
- Children between the ages of 11 and 16 require a parent or legal guardian to be with them at the time of their appointment.
- Children between the ages of 11 and 16 require a parent or legal guardian to sign the consent form on their behalf.
- Children between the ages of 11 and 16 require a parent or legal guardian to be in the room whilst any piercing is performed.
- Piercings with an age restriction of 16 years & above require photo ID. This is regardless of whether they have parental consent.
- We will not pierce anyone that looks under the age of 25, without valid proof of age.
- Proof of age must be a photo ID.
- Photo ID must be an original document showing photo, name, and date of birth, for example: driver’s license or passport.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that cannot prove their age when asked.
- We will refuse service to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- We reserve the right to refuse a piercing if we believe that a particular piercing may not be suitable for that person.
- You agree that whilst any piercing will be carried out within a hygienic environment and with sterile instruments and jewellery, there are still associated risks with all piercings.
- You agree that Metal Fatigue Limited cannot be held liable for any loss or injury that results from any piercing performed.
- In giving your consent, you release Metal Fatigue Limited, and its employees from all liabilities, actions and demands which you may have now, or in the future, for any loss or damage suffered howsoever caused as a result of your piercing, (except as a result of fraudulent misrepresentation) or in respect of personal injury caused by myself, negligence and any failure on your part to follow the aftercare instructions.
- Prior to any piercing being performed, you agree to inform Metal Fatigue Limited of any health conditions and/or allergies you; or your child if acting on their behalf; have that any reasonable person would consider a piercer should be made aware of.
- Prior to any piercing being performed, you agree to inform Metal Fatigue Limited of any medications you; or your child if acting on their behalf; are taking that any reasonable person would consider a piercer should be made aware.
- You accept that it is your responsibility to follow the provided aftercare instructions, and any failure to do so could lead to complications with the piercing.
Payment
- Payment must be made in full before any piercing is performed.
- If the piercing is subsequently not performed, the cost will be refunded back to the original payment method.
- If a different piercing is performed to one paid for, any difference will be either be: refunded to the original payment method in the case of overpayment or; if the piercing that was performed cost more than the original payment amount, the additional difference must be paid immediately.
Gift Cards
- Gift cards are only valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Where the service booked costs more than the gift card value being redeemed, the difference must be paid in advance of the piercing being performed.
- Where the service booked costs less than the gift card value being redeemed, the difference will not be refunded and cannot be carried over to another service.
Jewellery Changes
- All jewellery changes are offered on a first come, first served basis.
- All jewellery changes are performed at the piercer’s discretion.
- All jewellery changes are performed around our booked appointments, and these appointments will always take precedence over jewellery changes.
- Jewellery changes are performed at the piercer’s discretion and may be refused if they believe the jewellery is unsuitable.
Free Jewellery Change Offer
- The free jewellery change requires a the presentation of a valid voucher.
- The free first jewellery change voucher cannot be transferred to another person.
- Vouchers have no cash value.
- Jewellery changes are performed at the piercer’s discretion and may be refused if they believe the jewellery is unsuitable.
- We reserve the right to cancel or amend this offer at any time.
Free NeilMed® Aftercare Offer
- The offer is for one small can 75.2g of NeilMed piercing aftercare spray.
- The offer is limited to one can per person, per day.
- This is offer does not apply to Oral Piercings
